Really slow service, the dessert wasn’t too good, the young waiting staff don’t have a clue about food or the menu.
The carvery is good though. A good selection of veg, lots of creamy and cheesy options. The potatoes were no good, but it’s made up by the lovely meat and the veggies.
I’ll go again I expect, but it’s nothing to shout about. It’s one of those ‘quantity over quality’ restaurants.
The average age of the clientele seemed to be about 75, and the staff about 14. Maybe this is just the kind of food that old people eat and are happy with. Who knows.
