Came in here the other day. Nice cozy pub but pretty uninviting. Staff wasn’t very welcoming so from the beginning I felt a bit awkward. Also, the other patrons were definitely regulars and monopolised half the bar as well as the music which was obnoxious and a bit inappropriate. Personally, I want a pub to feel welcoming and homey. A place where I can sit and relax for hours, however after one drink I wanted to leave. I will say that there was some decent real ale and at a fair price. Hopefully if I try again it will be a bit nicer. Too bad, this place had potential!
