This is a slightly odd place, we’ve been there several times but frankly only because once you’ve been you get a bargain loyalty card meaning you can buy one main and get one free on your next visit although you only have about 3 weeks or so to do it. They seem to have a high turnover of staff too as we rarely see the same staff again on return visits. I have to say their burgers are to die for and the steaks are pretty good too. The rest of the menu is OK but nothing special at all and they do seem to insist on seasoning everything that comes out of the kitchen! Garlic bread is way too herby(it should just be garlic right) and other dishes are far too herby too. On one of our visits we both had profiteroles rolls, they were served in the most ridiculous tall glasses you’ve ever seen, completely unsuitable for such a dessert that needs cutting up with a spoon! We had a foreign waitress once who really could not explain what one of the desserts was, all she could say was ‘is cake’! Service mediocre at best. Prices mains typically around £8-£10 with steaks at around £15. Coke often a bit flat. Like I said if they didn’t run their continuous promotion we would never go back!

went here for my daughters 21st, excellent genuine italian food, service mediocre but the olives and flatbreads are gorgeous, restaurant feels small, always busy
