Pizza 2 Go

I’m sure it happens to us all, and maybe moreso as time goes on, but I seem to get ENDLESS flyers and adverts for takeaways shoved through my door. I have to confess that the majority of these pass straight through the house, and out the back door into the recycling bin, failing to pass go, collect £200, or fulfil any useful purpose on the way. How typical then, that just the other night when I had missed dinner, was ravenously hungry and had no food in the house, that one should fall through my letter box from the imaginatively named Pizza 2 Go… There really is nothing much on their menu to differentiate them from the plethora of other similar places that spring up, shut and then re-​open year round in the Manchester area, but heartened by the prospect of a 12″ American Hot arriving at my door for a mere £8.95 (and thus meeting the requirement for free delivery within a 3 mile radius!) I gave them a call.
The delivery driver was a friendly chap, resplendent in Santa hat, and arriving within half an hour I felt well worth a tip. The pizza was unremarkable, but certainly not bad; hot, spicy, and very warming. This’ll be one menu that doesn’t end up in the recycling (for emergency purposes in future!).
