The Plaice is essentially a standard Fish & Chips shop located in Dolphin Square, right in the centre of Tring within easy walking distance of anywhere. Prices are reasonable and the food comes in generous portions. The also serve a variety of sausages, pies and mushy pies. I believe they also serve burgers. There is a seating area inside but it’s not big, so you maybe unable to get a seat. For grabbing a quick dinner The Plaice is perfect, especially if you’re going to take it home to eat it. The service is generally good with staff usually consisting of students from Tring school.
