Tregurras Fish & chip shop sell excellent chips (although they are really greasey so if you like that then great). The problem is it is parked right in the middle of a dodgy estate. The décor inside is quite minging really but the only thing that should matter is the food and its good

We always call this the ‘slaggy’ chip shop as it is bang in the middle of an estate and looks rough as anything but the chips are amazing and good prices, too. The staff are always very friendly and nice and the wait is always short. Well worth a visit if you don’t let the location put you off! It is also tucked away right out of the main area so you won’t stumble across it unless you’re lost!

Tregurra Chip Shop is a small chip shop amongst a housing estate in Truro. The chip shop itself is usually quiet although at peak times (early evening) it can get busy but service is always fast, as they always have fish and chips prepared ready for you to buy. There is no eat in option as they only serve take away meals. The fish and chips are generally of good standard and come in a generous portion. A standard fish and chips from Tregurra is almost enough for two! I would recommend this chip shop if you are the area, due to the fast service and large portions.
