I literally LOVE this pub! Been three times and each time fantastic hot home cooked food, great looking pub, clean, friendly staff, good portions, good price and sweet little garden, looking forwards to another visit for an evening of food and drinks

Fantastic home cooked food and huge portions. The starter came up and it was like a main meal. The Landlord of the pub was extremely friendly and helpful ~ really nice atmosphere also. Will definitely visit again.

I was taken here by my partner’s uncle who lives in the area and he’s said all the mains are lovely with large portions. We had a pint and small lunches which were great. I don’t generally expect much in a jacket potato; just filling and simple flavours, but something about the cheese they used really made it taste lovely.

They do a great traditional Sunday Carvery. Beautiful old pub .book up for Sunday Lunch. very popular, always busy! There is a garden as well, and it is also popular with families.
