Please understand that I have never given a bad review for anything ever. However, the owner, James, was so rude I thought it necessary in this instance. On the website they quoted a 50% discount for a cut and finish for a first time customer — I thought it was too good to be true and, as it turns out, it was. When I mentioned the discount he merely said I was incorrect; when I pointed out the website advertised it he didn’t care, said it was a mistake with the website. Not only false advertising(I would have been happy to pay the full price normally) but atrocious customer service. Certainly will not be returning. This is a very nice little local spa, linked to the Aveda brand and products. It really makes an effort to create an atmosphere of relaxation and pampering. So far I’ve tried it out for a pedicure, and will definitely return. Friendly staff, and also really good coffee — I was made a proper cappuccino! I also like the fact it has online booking, which is very convenient.

The owner, James, has done a fantastic job at setting the standard for hair salons in the area. You can tell he’s thought through every detail and as a result, the experience is first-class. From the complimentary coffees(or beers!), to the excellent staff, cool interior, great value pricing and warm and friendly service, this place has got it all. I’ve recommended it to several friends and all of them have gone on to recommend it to others — say no more. Try it!
