We were in a hurry and needed somewhere to eat with our young children. This pub is family friendly and there’s lots of outside area for children to play with swings, slides etc… so definitely good on a warm summers day if you fancy an afternoon drink with kids in tow. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food however is far from gourmet. The sunday roast was decent enough but not spectacular. The wine list is limited. There is a kiddies menu that just about ticks the box. Deserts were very standard on choice and clearly microwaved which in this day and age is unacceptable. I would not go out of my way to eat there again but if I was passing and had the time and inclination would have a drink. It’s a reasonable and comfortable pub.

staff are very friendly and always willing to recommend food from the menu or cook a special order.
