Enjoyed an evening meal with a series of co-workers. The interior of the restaurant was very nice, we were seated upstairs and had a very nice view looking over Victoria Street. The service was fairly good and the starters were very good. For my main, I had the Turkey Milanese. It was a bit dry but prosciutto and egg complemented the dish very well.

Just average quality and it’s pricey! For a small salmon salad box, it came in at £5.95, which I thought for what it was, was too much. What I particularly don’t like is there’s a set price and then if you want add like an extra vegetable like sweet potato that’s an extra £1.50, then fish or chicken is £2… Before you know it, you’re paying £10 for a salad.
Food quality, have to admit the salmon was very tasty, so I can see why it always sells out. The rest of the salad was ok but didn’t set my word on fire and the choice of dressing was so minimal, I skipped it.
All in all, super so so place.

The food was ok… But the service was just way too slow. One item didn’t arrive. Wanted to order dessert but ended up not having time for it because the waiter never came!

I visited Jamie’s Italian with a friend for dinner– the venue is large and welcoming, food was good, and drinks even better (staff were happy to create a cocktail at my request). I assume one of the waitresses was new as she mistakenly handed us an incorrect and much cheaper bill, no harm done– we paid the full amount owed like good citizens :)
