We rented one of the self catering ‘villas’, but could of course use the Cow Shed spa, pools (one indoor, one out), and the restaurant. Lovely location overlooking the Camel estuary and the sea. Well maintained gardens. Two good restaurants, the main one in the hotel, and a poolside café. Service was good. Rock is nearby, and there is the foot ferry over to Padstow. Hotel is close to the coast path, for walks to the surf beach at Polzeath, or to the huge sands of Daymer bay in the other direction. Recommended.

Visited during winter hence not too crowded which made it wonderful.
Relaxed and comfortable with good food.
