Only offered most expensive treatment rather than being told of all options.
I would not recommend this surgery. Treatment offered £250 more than our usual vets. Only went because surgery opened on doorstep and we like to support local businesses.
Our usual vets is Churchfield who have surgeries in Barnsley area 5* vets

Chantry vets have been great with our cat (Lucy) she has been diebetic for nearly 4 years and has high blood pressure, they have taken care of Lucy’s every need even though she is nearly 17, Pred is a credit to the surgery and has taken so much care with Lucy. As for the comment above i cant agree as you pay to keep your pets safe & well, It was £1500(we have no insurance) to find out Lucy had her illness as she was with them nearly a week but do you know it was worth every penny, the dedication the surgery showed was great. That to me deserves a five star rating.

Great experience. My cat was hit by a car and I had to rush her throught to Chantry’s Vets Gill’s Yard surgery. They immediately took care of her and sorted out her broken leg and kept her in hospital for few days. I also was asked to pay only my excess on insurance and they then claimed directly form the insurance company-​great relief on finances. All staff are very genuinely friendly and there is a very pleasent feel to the place (as far as vet practices go).
Very highly recommended!!!

This practice is overpriced i would recommend you take your pets elsewhere. Although the staff are friendly that alone is not worth paying through your nose for.
