I don’t really get escobar. I think part of the problem is that it can’t quite decide what it is — it has a lot of live music but the bar isn’t really designed for it; though there is a decent stage area, they’ve gone and plonked a pillar in the middle of it, creating a problem for bands and restricting the vision of pretty much everybody. The venue is also split into 2 sections, one with most of the seating, and the other with the bar and the stage — so if you want to see the band, you pretty much have to stand or arrive really early. They also charge a couple of quid entry, which other places in Wakefield that have live music don’t — and drinks are really expensive too, making it a costly night out.

Évaluation du lieu : 4 Harrogate, United Kingdom
One of only a couple of places really worth giving a visit as far as Wakefield nightlife is concerned. Reasonable drinks, friendly staff(prepared to make you nearly any cocktail– just ask) and, most importantly, that rare creature: good music. Add to this some really decent live acts and you’ve got an unexpected gem in the rough. And as it stays open until late, why go anywhere else?
