Not a great experience. The girl behind the counter was absolutely miserable and the food took a good 5 minutes to arrive(which for ‘fast food’ on a quiet Thursday afternoon is pretty poor).

For once the food wasnt that bad, the chips were warm and the bread was fresh

This has got to be the dirtiest McDonalds outlet in the world(except for Barcelona). Before it was refurbished there was a build up of grease and dirt everywhere, especially on table tops. Popped in for the first time for ages last night for a coffee, sat at the newer tables and surprise surprise, they were filthy with same grease and dirt build up previously noted.

I have visited this restaurant on a few occasions usually while shopping in the town centre on a saturday afternoon. As this is the only mcDonald‘s in the town centre it gets incredibly busy so expect to be queuing for a long time. The staff behind the counter in my experience arent really that helpful and if you expect service with a smile then your in the wrong place. Due to it being so busy the outside of the restaurant is usually littered extensively with food wrappers that have been dropped or fallen out of a overfull bin. Overall the food is the same as any McDonalds but would just be nicer if the service was a little bit better

I like this branch of McDonald’s and patronise it regularly. I like to order the Filet-O-Fish meal which you sometimes have to wait for, while it is freshly cooked. The staff here are pretty helpful and will often offer to bring the meal to you when done while you sit down with your drink. I have rarely had any problems with the quality of the food: I think on only one occasion the fries were underdone. One thing McDonald’s has over Burger King is that the fries are both salted and there is extra salt readily available. I find lately that BK both leave their fries unsalted(ugh!) and will only give you salt if you actually ask at the counter(and if you forget, you will have to either queue or brave the angry looks and mutters of the queue if you jump in). If this is a health initiative it’s rubbish: if you were concerned about health in the first place you wouldn’t be eating at a fast food joint, plus fries without salt are horrid.
