This is the poshest Italian I’ve been to in Wakefield, and whilst the food’s not as good as at Rustico, it’s a different night — a lot bigger and more dressy, probably a more suitable place to bring a massive group. Food is good — the first time I went, I was very impressed with the chicken and bacon risotto, although when I returned more recently, the portion sizes seemed to have shrunk. The chocolate fudge dessert is also FANTASTIC. Service is usually good, although I have had trouble with the waiter assuming that my change (nearly £10) was a tip and not bringing it back to the table, which I thought was out of order.
