A little on the pricey side and they only do Sunday Lunch on a Sunday. Food is good as is the service.

The Grange is a restaurant and function venue situated on the western side of the lovely Beddington Park, between Hackbridge and Wallington. The venue has a bar and restaurant area downstairs, and a function room upstairs. Originally the site of a large and impressive Victorian house which burned down in the 1960s, the current building is a modern replacement which has recently been refurbished. Although not very characterful, the clean modern interior is nevertheless bright and airy, and the full length windows offer great views across the gardens and park. There’s a small outside drinking area(drinks are not allowed in the park, which is owned and maintained by Sutton Borough). The menu is a mix of modern British and Indian cuisine, with a snack menu of sandwiches etc available in the bar. They also serve a couple of real ales. We went there for a wedding, and the food was perfectly acceptable if rather predictable ‘event catering’, but I can’t comment on the restaurant menu. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed by the occasion, although were extremely friendly and willing. As a place for a drink on a sunny day, after a stroll through the park, it strikes me as a good spot.
