Last time I dined there, tables were not clean and waiter was rude, but food there is a safe bet

Food tastes great but presentation can suffer when busy. Service good and very handy location with parking opposite. Great kids ice cream(Vanilla is best).

Had a lovely meal here with my wife a while back. Nice atmosphere. No complaints really.

Very average experience, lacklustre welcome, left waiting for over 10 minutes before anyone asked if we even wanted a pre dinner drink. Food was ok, lacking any real flavour though…

The staff were very friendly and although we had to wait a while for our table(a couple of days before Christmas — it was bound to busy) they gave us menus to browse and even a breadstick each to munch on while we waited. The food was delicious — fresh and Italian, as you’d expect. We particularly enjoyed our starter which was parma ham wrapped around breadsticks with chunks of paramsan and a balsamic vinegar-esque sauce for dipping. The only downside really was the décor. They have the usual shop full of nice Italian things, and a few old-style Italian posters on the wall, but the eating area itself felt a bit clinical and canteen like. But overall a great place, would recommend!

A friendly, welcoming place to visit. Food is excellent for a chain, always tastes very fresh! The spaghetti vongole is my favourite, with a good serving of clams, good oil and chilli heat, the courgettes are divine too. The site also has a small deli area where you can purchase lots of goodies! Good for lunchtime visit when shopping, the paninis are lovely!

I recently(shamefully) came here alone after visiting an ill friend and not having the energy to go home late at night and start cooking. I entered a very quiet restaurant at around nine pm, and was greeted with such warmth that I immediately felt at home and relaxed. I ordered some calamari, followed by a lasagne and side of courgettes, all washed down with a delicious glass of house red. The calamari were some of the best I have ever had, bar sitting in a beach restaurant on a greek island, and the lasagne was wonderfully meaty and creamy. The courgettes, though were the real revelation, sautéed in sage butter they were deliciously moist and rich and totally moreish. Altogether I spent about £18 and had one of the most pleasant meals out in recent memory.
