Golborne library is at the heart of the community. It is situated just behind the main shops on Tanners Lane. The car parking is the same as the main shops and there is lots of space. The selection of books is good for a relatively small library and they can get you any book from across the Wigan area quite quickly. There is free internet access which is very useful. The staff are very helpful and quite knowledgeable if you need help. There are also activities in the holidays for children.
