Mulberry Tree

The Mulberry Tree is in an excellent location right in the centre of Stockton Heath, unfortunately the owners do not seem to be taking advantage of this and over the years have let the pub fall into disrepair.
The last time I visited there were several buckets dotted around to catch the rain leaking through the roof and the seating was grubby.
I have only eaten here once and that was 6 years ago so I doubt it is representative of the food now but as there was a dog hair in my sandwich I am extremely reluctant to ever give the food a second chance.
Having said that it’s one of only a few places near Stockton Heath that show live sports so it’s a good place to go on match days.
There is also lots of outdoor seating making it popular in the summer months.

Needs a good spruce up but this is a very convenient pub in the middle of Stockton Heath village, at least the pigeon problem has now been cleaned up. The outdoor area is lovely in the summer and there is always a lovely Christmas tree outside for the festive season
