Waterfields Leigh

All in all this bakers is well stocked and the food is lovely at really good prices. I do think its so popular that the queues reaching out of the shop is a bit annoying — especially when the weather is bad. And the step to get in the shop is totally prohibitive to anyone with wheels. However its almost part of the shops charm (!) so we allow the hassle because the pasties are soooo good. its hot and immediate grub so who’s complaining? They do lovely fresh bread baked on the premises so the whole place naturally smells lovely. I would say that there isn’t always an awesome range of cakes in there, but there’s always a good selection, from cream cakes to doughnuts, so you’ll never leave empty handed! Worth a visit.
