Yes, it hit the spot! Great chicken and sides for a decent price!
Highlights: Great tasting chicken with ample quantity cooked to perfection, Open kitchen, Decent size dinning area, Simple menu with mix and match options, Reasonably priced and Great customer service.
Can improve: Healthy side options: fresh salads or steamed veggies. Their desserts are very limited as well and can use an overhaul.
Benchmark: They seem to set the benchmark for rotisserie type of chicken. KFC comes close but that is just block your artery food so I stay away.
Dined in Jan 2016 and will return.

YASSS. love this restaurant. i go all the time. i always make sure they cook it how i like it and they do. also best manager i met was in Essex Nandos. so kind. everyone should go :)

This is a great restaurant in its class. Fast, flavorful, moderately priced food. They really only offer chicken and sides. The chicken was deliciously marinated, perfectly grilled and well sauced. If you think you know wings and love them, you must try Nando’s. Their sauces are indeed as described. Hot is hot, medium is medium. In short, hot is not for wimps. I shudder to imagine Extra hot. Surprisingly, their ratatouille was very enjoyable.

Nandos proposes very good chicken food for fair prices. Very good choice if you don’t mind the self service. But very good food especially for Watford Highstreet.

I like chicken and go to Nandos in other cities, but it was awful to be at Nandos in Watford. Chicken wasnt cooked well. I mean they just put it on the grill and served it. Just warmed on the grill, not crispy enough. Rice was delicious but a bit cold. The orange juice was from the bottle to glass. Not freshly squezed. I won‘t go there again.

This is a really busy Nando’s right on the high street. We went on a Saturday lunch time and managed to get a table but didnt have to wait too long for our food since they were full.
Cant go wrong with Nando’s as all restaurants are to the same standard and if you like chicken there is lots to choose from.
Soft drinks, you get free refills.
The only negative thing i would say is that the seating is quite close together making you feel like you are invaiding the tables next to you space.

Nando’s ‘specialise’ in ‘piri piri chicken’. This tranlates as ‘chilli chilli’ chicken. If you don’t like chicken, you won’t like Nando’s. Whole chicken, half chicken, chicken burgers its an alternative to Bubba’s Shrimp. As such it is something that you can only do once in a while. It is self service, you go and order at the till, and everything is pre-packaged except the chicken which they cook on a grill in the place. Expect standard ready made coleslaw, run of mill chips and microwave spicy rice. Also expect to enjoy eating all that junk and come away feeling full and content, with slightly numb chilli-lips.
