Holkham pottery shop is located in the small hamlet of Holkham outside Wells next the sea. The pottery itself is actually on the grounds of the local stately home of Holkham hall in the yard adjacent to the main building. The gift shop has an eclectic mix of output from the pottery mixed with jewellery, books and soft furnishings etc. I’m no expert on pottery but the stuff on sale seems good quality to me. It’s not cheap however. It’s got slightly weird opening hours that seem to be based around the tourist season — it’s closed completely in January and February, only open daily from June to September and open only on Sundays for the rest of the year.
