It is a popular indian chain of restaurants and very famous in india. I went to eat misal pav, as I heard it has maharastrian touch it, but it was total disappointment, it was very oily and it just had Gujarati mixture put in a oily curry. I have tried couple of other dishes as well but they were also not great. Won’t recommend

It is a popular chain in India and was highly recommend by many people. The place popular with mostly Indian expats and locals. Went with family and we were shown to a table right away. The issue was the table was hidden from the view and we had to try real hard to get attention of staff. The place is a essentially a Chaat house with Chaat(Indian Street Food) being the popular choice however they do have an extensive menu serving North Indian and South Indian food. We ordered a mix of food — Chole Bature(fried fluffy bread with chick pea curry in a special masala), rotis, Panner Makhanwala(Indian cottage Cheese in a Butter rich tomato based gravy), Masala Dosa and Idlis. The South Indian fare was substandard and is not recommended, if you want to have South Indian I recommend Saravana Bhavan which is next door. The North Indian and the drinks were OK but not great. The Batura was nice and light and the curries were slightly above average nothing to write home about. They so serve some ethnic dessert and we ordered a Kulfi(Indian Ice-cream) Falooda which was OK. For four adults and two kids the bill came to £60 which was ok, the staff were friendly when they could see us albeit felt they were not experienced. The food but was the letdown, it was borderline average the best. They do have a lunch/dinner buffet as well and also a Chaat Buffet and probably they might be nice. You won’t be hugely disappointed but not lip smacking.
