Having been on the receiving end of the sticker shock for hotels in London this was heck of a bargain. While not actually in London its close to the Heathrow and a free bus ride from the airport (10 – 15 min). I was even allowed to check in early (much appreciated) as one needs to just unwind after a long flight. Check in was prompt and there was free Wi-​Fi as well. The room is on the smaller size which is sort of expected. It felt clean which is a great thing in this price range. Not bad for a layover or a short trip.

Outstanding hotel, very clean, great location, very helpful and friendly staff. Hotel is conveniently located by the airport, and a five minute free bus ride to the tube. Downtown London is a 35 minute ride on the tube. Hotel offers a great breakfast buffet. I would differently stay hear again, considering the nightly rates at every reasonable for Lindon!

Close proximity to Heathrow airport. Recent stay over post holiday to Hawaii. The price is very competitive compared to others around. Friendly reception staff on front desk. Phoned through to have early check in as flight from NY landed at 7am — staff were able to get room ready for early check in. Rooms are dated and could do with an upgrade. Decent hotel if flying from Heathrow

Beautiful hotel with great service! I had made a reservation asking for a «double», thinking I would get two beds, but in England a «double» = one double bed. The manager, a very sweet man named Rajiv Cherian, solved the problem by upgrading to a huge room with a double bed and two twin beds on the side — he also changed the magazines in the new room, at my request. I was impressed with the quality of the hotel and especially the outstanding service provided. There is a free bus just outside the hotel, that takes you to the Heathrow Central Bus Station/​underground/​Heathrow — very convenient! Free internet — comfortable bed — perfect stay. I recommend this hotel for a comfortable, quiet stay near the airport. Thank you again Rajiv and the staff. :-)

We stayed here for 2 nights at the beginning of our Europe trip. We booked last minute like 2 nights before so we didnt have very many options in the city so we decided to stay near the airport and take the train into the city that takes less than an hour. There is a free shuttle/​bus from the hotel to the airport. The staff is very helpful and gives you vouchers for free internet for 24 hours at a time. if you walk a couple blocks in each direction there is a good Indian food place nearby and also an awesome pub within walking distance or there are some buses that are free but you have to ask which ones are free. Overall, a very nice place in a good location being next to the airport. And it’s very quiet

We got a room on the 1^st Jan on Orbitz for $ 75, I was a little sceptical at first… I shouldn’t have been. The hotel was clean, the rooms size was good. It’s probably on par with Club Quarters quality wise. But the price we got an absolute bargain. We ate at the restaurant for which we were pleasantly surprised by. Prices are of course hotel rates for food but the quality was better than other higher quality hotels in the area. The staff were curious and very accommodating with our requests. Parking was 12 pounds for overnight and it’s an underground lot. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to others.

We stayed here during our layover at Heathrow and were very surprised with the quality of the hotel, as well as the price. I think we paid a little over $ 100 for our room, but it was super close to the airport, spacious and clean. We took a taxi from the airport to the hotel, but realized later they have many free buses running. For dinner we walked down to the Pheasant Inn and enjoyed a local pub.

Now, don’t book here if you are planning to sight see around London, as there is nothing nearby except for Heathrow.
We booked here as we were on our way back to Canada and had taken the day before to travel closer to the airport since our flight was fairly early.
After hopping off the bus with our suitcases, a 747 flew overhead and the entire street shook, I was worried about getting sleep. Our room ended up facing Heathrow’s runways, but with glass a foot thick, I couldn’t hear anything! I even pressed my ear up against it.
The interior of the hotel looks fairly modern, with star trek elevators and our room was also gorgeous, with the window running the length of the wall, we sat up for awhile watching the silent planes take off to their far away destinations.
Good TV, nice washroom amenities including a sewing kit! Complimentary bottled water and in-​room coffee and tea station. The bed was really comfortable as well.
We made our way down to the restaurant for dinner, the food was good, but fairly pricey. I enjoyed a vegetarian pizza, while my fiancé munched down a shrimp linguini.
I think the best part about our stay was the 10 pound breakfast buffet that was included in our room booking. So for 5 quid each, we ate as much sausage, bacon, potatoes and tomatoes as we could stomach. Very a-​typical English breakfast spread, but it was good!
I really enjoyed our stay here and upon check out we learned you also are privy to free lifts on the shuttle buses from the hotel to the airport.

We booked in here on the night before a very early flight out of Heathrow. I found the place tired and shabby. The staff we encountered were unwelcoming. The evening meal in the hotel restaurant was average. The fitness centre was, in my estimation, below par. The breakfast buffet was totally unappetising. My travel companion settled for just coffee, preferring to eat on the plane. The room we were given, considering the price we paid, was grim, with outdated furniture and poor lighting. The sound proofing, however, was excellent. Hotels in the airport compound are much more expensive than The Arora. This place is fine if you just need a place to sleep, but I didn’t find it a very nice way to kick off my holiday.
