This restaurant is located near Heathrow airport. There is free parking on the premises. The staff are friendly and speak English and Cantonese. Menu is mainly in Chinese with English translation. The food taste pretty authentic Hong Kong Cantonese style cooking. Portions are a little small and price s bit more expensive than Chinatown. But this is a pretty good desl if you are hankering for Chinese food out in the sticks.

Went here one Friday evening as it’s just round the corner and we were craving Chinese food. The food was ok, though the portions were fairly small. It’s the first time I’ve ever seen the fella not polish off his beef in black bean sauce, though he won’t say what was wrong with it. It’s extremely overpriced, which I guess they can get away with because they’re so close to the airport. The staff weren’t rude exactly, just had a slightly odd way of interacting with customers. I wouldn’t go back in a hurry. I miss Walthamstow and Peking Chef!

I read some earlier reviews and thought how bad could it be. Wow this place sucks… Food is not fresh and over priced Service is extremely slow and rude staff, they have more staff than customers but zero attention to what’s the most customers. I have never ever had a restaurant charge me a service fee if 10% for dinning alone. I totally understand for parties of 10 or more but service fee 10% and also never ask them for sauce for your egg roll. Yes you guessed it the charge for that as well. If you ask for the manager you will get a guy who will show you the fine print in their menu. Unless you really like getting taken advantage of, I would recommend other amazing restaurants. These guys have no concept of customer service until they realize they have no more customers.

Passed this place loads of times decided to stop in and have a mooch about. The place looked very nice, kinda out of place for the area and from what you see outside but none the less it was nice. The service was really good, was full but got seated straight away. To start we had Chicken Dumplings and Paper Wrapped Prawns, they were really nice and could have easily had more. For main the gf had Quart Duck and pancakes and Prawn Crispy Noodles, the duck was kind of dry(I Thought anyway) and the salad was on the stingy side compared to other places also the pancake holder made the last pancake stick to the base so that was one wasted. The noodles had that super noodle shape and taste to it, she didn’t like it and nor did I. I went for the Duck in Ginger with a special fried rice, the duck was ok nothing special and the rice was your typical rice, again the portions were very small. The food was ok I guess, I would return but not for a while. 3 drinks + food and the 10% service charge they add without asking made the bill £60.

BLANDANDEXPENSIVE! I know it is near the airport and most people only come once, BUT is it possible to create some nice dishes that actually taste good and are not greasy? Service is pretty good, but the food is not. However, what other choice does one have — McDonald or the gas station sandwiches. However we must remember the Sheraton dining room is worse!

1. Vegetarian meals are much more expensive than in the menu. They specified it in 5 different menus, so you are completely confused and on the end you get the bill with bigger prices. 2. Beef was not tender, everything was very oily 3. 10% for service written with small letters on menu is impossible to see when you are hungry. 4.You cant take your receipt, I had to ask about copy and specification. 5. Staff mostly don’t understand English, you can see a lot of staff but they don’t see you. 6.The bill was twice bigger than I supposed 7. Reading opinions on different sites I see how they focus on money. but not giving proper service instead

«Wei, boss lei ho?» OK, I confess I’m a regular here as my office is round the corner so I guess they’re always happy to see me & my gang of regulars on a weekly basis. Dim Sum selection is good, the usual siu mai, har gau, vietnamese springs rolls, etc. Main courses are good too, beef hor fun, freshly roasted meats(char siu, pork belly & duck), freshly steamed fish(literally live from one of their tanks), the usual chinese veg & braised meat dishes. Not always perfect for my tastes but a Chinese restaurant in the middle of nowhere at this quality is a pleasant surprise… enjoyed many a meal there.

Pretty good Chinese restaurant. If you are stuck in a hotel out by Heathrow Airport and you don’t fancy the usual hotel food, the London Hong Kong restaurant is worth a visit. The food and service are excellent. Didn’t get to sample the Dim Sum, but the evening menu is well worht a visit. 5 minutes from the Sheraton Heathrow, Thistle and Sofitel Hotel.

Was here a couple of time and would have rated this restaurant w/four stars. But this time the quality of the food wasn’t the same as before. So even three stars are quite polite. We had a starter which wasn’t very tasty, the soup was OK and the main dish boring and oily. Next time I will visit my favorite Indian restaurant again or will go to a local pub.

This is one of two choices for dinner in the area, the other is McDonald’s. The food is definitely better at this restaurant, but I can’t say that for the customer service. We had a group of 8 people and were all drinking tea and water. Coming from the US, we are used to the waiter asking if we would like bottled or tap water. Here they only ask for still or sparkling. Upon receipt of the final bill, we were charged $ 30 for water! The disappointing part is that when we brought this to the attention of the manager, he did nothing to empathize with the situation. It was as if he would rather lose customers over the water charge and admitted, «this is how we make money». Wow… For the price of the items, I would expect more quality and value in their service. Be sure to ask for«tap» water!

I had a nice dinner there on Friday night. I missed dim sum(the waiter said it is primarily for lunch and ends by 5 pm). I had paper wrapped shrimp which were very yummy and a little dim sum like. Then I had a lamb sizzling plate that was great. They brought out a plate of chilled fruit to wrap things up. This is one of the best options if you are staying at the Sheraton Heathrow, as it is just a 5-minute walk.

Great local chinese restaurant. Dim sum was very good and loads of variety. There are 2 floors, so no waiting for a table. Friendly service. Highly recommended.

Great restaurant! Been there several times and the food is always delicious! Both the lunch(dim sum) menu and the evening menu are great!

It’s a good sign that«natives» come to eat at an ethnic restaurant. I’m always weary of trying cuisines that are readily available from home. I mean, coming from America, going to the UK, and eating at a Chinese Restaurant that’s not even in Central London but by Heathrow(aka, Airport from Hell)… what should I expect right? Unfortunately for me, I’m staying at the Sheraton Heathrow, so within walking distance at night it’s either here or the McD’s. A pleasant surprise was in store, quite fortunately. On a Sunday night at 9:45pm, there were a few tables with larger parties dining, and most of them were speaking Chinese(sorry, I’m not good with the dialects). I take this as a good sign. The restaurant features Cantonese and Peking-style dishes. I ordered a bowl of chicken corn chowder and beef with ginger & spring onion. The soup was basically like an egg drop with chicken bits… it was pretty decent, but I’ve had better in Canada. The beef dish may sound like Mongolian beef to us Yanks, but it was more like sauteed in a brown sauce(oyster, I think)… but pretty darn tasty, though I should be eating with rice to cut the saltiness a little bit. If it’s one thing about dining at a sit-down in the UK is that they are pretty attentive in general. I was seated quickly… it took two people to serve my single bowl of soup… my cup of jasmine tea was always full. I would not only come back here but would recommend it. I’ve been to Chinatown in Central London, and this place was better in my opinion, with a lot less crowds/tourists and relatively reasonable prices(£8 for my beef entrée, £3.50 for soup, £15 total with tea/tax/tip). Worth noting: — The also have a dim sum service available, but I didn’t get a chance to ask when it is. — Hours are 11am-10:30pm every day. — The map is slightly off… it’s right on the corner of Bath Road and Hatch Lane.
