Classy 15th century coaching inn conversion featuring restaurant/​brasserie and bar areas. There are also private rooms available for more intimate occasions and parties catering for up to 20 people.
On the menu there are stylish platters of British favourites and seasonal options all served up in exquisite surroundings. The attention to detail extends far beyond the ingredients, furnishings and exceptional personal service. Booking is therefore highly recommended.

One of my FAVORITE place to eat while in England. The wait staff is on top of their game in front of the house, the kitchen staff is on the ball when it comes to fresh ingredients and turning out excellent food. They serve all top shelf liquor, excellent wines and great beers. The food is amazing! I eat there every time I am in England. Worth every pound!!!
I would recommend The Swan to anyone who is visiting and or lives in Maidstone or the surrounding area.

This is a very elegant pub. The food is absolutely delicious but I found the service to be a little too rushed, they were very busy though and people were waiting at the bar for their tables. We had three courses here; you are so tempted by the puds! And we were out within an hour. This is the sort of restaurant that you want to relax in and take your time over the wonderful menu. There is a good varied choice, one of those menus that you want to try everything on. I also attended a private party here last year in the rooms upstairs. We had a fantastic dining room and a private bar with a lounge area. The staff that waited on us were extremely professional. All in all this is a very sophisticated place to dine. The prices are quite high but then you would expect that from a good restaurant.
