Carlton Cinema

This is a lovely little cinema, the prices are very reasonable and the staff friendly. I go here regularly. Sure it is a little shabby and small when compared to the Vue monster at Westwood, but I enjoy that as part of the experience. I always recommend that people go here, I was very upset when this place closed a few years ago, but am delighted it is back open.

We loved this little cinema when we were holidaying in Westgate. It’s really friendly and reasonably priced, we found it a joy to go there and we would recommend it.

A very nice little independent cinema in Westgate-​on-​Sea. Reasonably priced tickets, especially on a Monday when all seats are £3, the rest of the time prices are £4.20 — £6.
The cinema is divided into 3 screens, Première, Century and Bijou screens, the biggest being the Première (this screen also has the most expensive seats £6 for their premier seats) and this is where most of the new releases are shown.
The century and the Bijou screens are both quite a bit smaller (the bijou is like watching a film in your front room!) but both show the bigger releases a couple of weeks after and also show the more independent films.
Overall a nice little cinema well worth a visit if in the area and dont fancy a trip to the big multiplex.
