Nice little Indian, good tasty food as with most Indians. Alcohol is a little expensive, but that’s the same with most Indians. Looks like most Indians in side, the win is that they deliver and the food is good quality.

Don’t be deceived or put off by the impression of the exterior and interior of this restaurant. It may look dated and stuck in a bygone era, but the food and service here are excellent(even if the dishes are still wheeled through the restaurant on an antique trolley!) We visited on a Thursday when they do a £10.95 special(inc Starter, Main & Dessert/Coffee and a free glass of wine) The Onion Bhaji was one of the best I’ve had — not greasy, light and tasty. The Chilli Chicken starter was also very excellent, moderately spicy with moist chicken breast and well presented on the plate. The main courses were just as good. Tikka Masala can sometimes be oily, but the chicken was succulent and the Masala sauce was one of the best I’ve had. My only gripe with this restaurant is that the coffee is served in a tiny cup that looks like it was stolen from a child’s tea-set, but that’s the only real negative comment I have. Remember to ask for your free wine. If you don’t ask, you don’t get!

This restaurant is always busy, which is a good sign. The food is great and everyone is always made to feel welcome. My favourite is the Kofte Curry but nothing has ever dissapointed.
