We went here for a lunch time treat and we both ordered burger and chips with a side order of onion rings. The restraurant was modern, clean and fresh looking with pleasant, helpful staff. We were served by the young chef himself and it did look delicious! The chips were home made and probably the best chips we’d both had in a very long time ;crispy and nicely chunky and brown. The burger was obviously home-made too and so were the fab onion rings made in the lightest, crispiest batter ever!!.we cant wait to visit again and would recommend this place to all our friends well done to all the staff and chef Paddy.

I treated my parents to a meal last Sunday. The food was well presented serving on piping hot plates. The staff were very friendy attentive, polite, smartly dressed and had a very professional attiitude. The meal was great value for money and would definitely recommend Rendezvous at the Park and plan on visiting again in the very near future. They also have themed cusiine nights every Thursday.

I agree with Phil, this is a very styish upbeat restaurant. The food prices are reasonable, bed and breakfast a little more than what you would expect in a little town like this.

What the hell is a place as stylish at this doing in Whitchurch?! Well, it’s not London, but quite different from most other things available in the area. Modern conversion of an old building, spacious, ambient, plenty of glass. It’s a hotel and a bar too, which looked comfy enough, but I’m just commenting on the restaurant. They served us pretty late on on Boxing Day when everything else around was closed, and although the fillet steak had run out the sirloin was pretty good. Not quite rare enough when I asked for rare, but very tasty with lashing of pepper sauce and chips, and giant onion rings. The beer situation isn’t great — the JW Lees is not draught, but ‘creamflow’, however, it was drinkable. And after major surgery, I’m not drinking a great deal anyway! Probably the best place to go if you’re in Whitchurch town centre.
