Been in here a few time nice pretty large family pub/restaurant can get very busy especially at weekend. The bar staff are very friendly and polite they never let you stand there for long to be served they get through the que pretty quick. They got a large car park so no problem with parking but if you not driving there bus stops closed to the pub/restaurant. The food looks very nice but can’t comment on it as Iv not eaten there yet and the prices are not to bad eather they have a wide range of beer/wines/spirits and soft drinks eather on draft on from the fridge.

Superb family pub/restaurant in the winstanley area of town pretty large. Part of the flaming grill chain it’s been done up to a modern style. Very large car park at the front so parking not usually a problem unless it’s one of the times when the place is rammed which happens quite a lot. Outside on the front is a great outdoor beer patio with heaters. Inside there’s a large bar situated on the back wall with seating/tables on the left & right of bar has well as seating/tables in an area facing the bar. A little separate room with a few seats/tables on the left has doors which lead to the outdoor patio area’s. Drink prices are between £2.50-£3.00 for a pint. Staff are friendly & pretty much attentive. We’ve never had the food so this review is just based on the general feeling of the place.

Pop here with the family if we want an affordable meal out without traveling too far. Some menu options can be a little bland, not in flavour but you can get them from most pub menus, but the ‘grill’ stuff they do, they do well. Never had any issues with the food or staff when we’ve been. Gets real busy in the summer as they have outdoor seating also. Popular as a pub and not just a restaurant so plan your timing well :)

i like this pub in wigan, for a sunday roast, it can however get quite busy, it is a modern nicely decorated type of pub yet with a cosy feel and good atmosphere, and friendly, the meals are quite good, however one sunday they seemed to be running out of things, for our sunday dinner, and it got quite confusing has to what we was going to get, it was quite busy though, and will certainly visit again Video link:

The Venture is a large modern pub with a friendly atmosphere. It has a mix of customers — lots of locals from the nearby area and passing trade who caall in off the main road. It has a decent sized car park with several disabled parking bays, outdoor seating areas/smoking area and grassy areas. The pub is well kept and the internal decoration pleasant. It has a large bar area and several seating areas/dining areas. Food is served all day every day with quite an extensive menu ranging from bar snacks and sandwiches to kids meals, steaks, grills and salads. There is also a range of starters and desserts. Food is value for money and service is efficient. Bar staff and waiting staff are very helpful and will try and ensure you have a good experience when visiting. Disabled access is not a problem as the entrance is on the level as is the whole bar and dining area. Chairs are easily removed to accomodate wheelchairs and there is enough space to navigate a wheelchair within the dining areas.
