I’ve been coming to this Fish ‘n’ Chip shop for over 20 years and it has always been good. I’m not sure if it’s because I had my first ever chow mien from here and it some how set my tastes buds, but I’m yet to find anywhere better.
Their fish isn’t the best. The batter can be a bit soggy and the chips are good, but not amazing. But this is essentially a Chinese take away, so I’ll let them off.
If your looking for a decent Chinese in Winterbourne or the surrounding area, then you an do a lot worse. If your looking for fish ‘n’ chips then you can do a lot better.

I regularly visit Winterbourne Fish Bar and by far for me is the best Chinese around.
The food is great tasting, good sized portions and really well priced.
My favourite is chicken chowmein, chips and curry sauce.
Staff are really good to. Not a great dealt I say apart from great food.
Ring ahead to order your food as it can get busy.
