BP Service Stations

The West End branch of BP is an expensive, dirty establishment with less than helpful staff.
The pumps are grubby and often out of order. Water, gloves and paper are often missing.
You need to know which pump to go to as not all dispense all types (there’s a particular issue with one pump only serving premium diesel but this is not clearly marked).
The shop is tiny and dirty. Offers in store are not promoted and staff are happy to see you walk out without the bonus item. The store also participates in the Nectar card scheme but don’t expect to be reminded.
On one occassion I purchased a Sunday Times from here and it had no supplement section. I returned into store (as there was a CD offer in the supplemets) to be told Oh, I know, they weren’t delivered — a refund was refused. The guy KNEW when I purchased the paper that it was incomplete.
