I called Gregsons to make an appointment to see a solicitor and the reception lady said to come in anytime between 2:00 — 2:30 and when I arrived the Solicitor had no record of an appointment and said he couldn’t meet with me. They clearly have not hired staff who know what they are doing and I suggest they find someone new to run the front desk and take appointments. I would never use this company again.

We used Gregsons to complete our conveyancing. Although the transaction was completed I feel that it wouldn’t have been had we not pushed and pushed at every point.
Thankfully personal legal expertise meant that I knew what should be happening. Without this knowledge our sale would certainly have been delayed.
Communication was poor and the conveyancer didn’t seem interested in pursuing the other parties for information. This nearly cost us dearly when it transpired that our buyers were not able to pay the full 10% deposit which meant that we had to find funds for our own deposit at very short notice. Standard questions would have cleared this up much earlier.
Price wise Gregsons were not out of line with other providers and, to be honest, I’m not sure that their service was markedly worse than any other but I know I wouldn’t use them again.
