Ambassadors is ok as a cinema. The screens aren’t the biggest, the seats aren’t the best in the business but it’s great value compared to the far more expensive Odeon cinema in nearby Guildford and is usually much quieter. The online booking is poor, trying to choose your own seats is often a nightmare and you seem to need to use internet explorer as it never works with Firefox. I was going to see a new release tonight but the booking was playing up again and as it was opening night I expected it to be busy and therefore didn’t want to be allocated seats automatically. As a result I’m at home and didn’t go to see the film tonight.

The Ambassadors in Woking is a combination of cinema and theatre. It is centrally located in the middle of Woking and is a short walk from bus and train stations as well as being right next to the Peacocks shopping centre with it’s large car park(you now need to take a ticket on entry and pay for the ticket before getting back into your car to leave). The cinema is great and shows all the popular films as you would expect. The theatre I believe is where the Ambassadors really shines. There are so many great shows here and although it isn’t my nearest theatre I visit regularly. I went to the Pantomime this year, which was wonderful as usual and I am going to see 7 Brides for 7 brothers next week, I can’t wait!
