For a town that is smaller than a US TARGET or KMART store, (HEMA in the netherlands) Wokingham has some surprisingly good food.
The Sultan Balti restaurant was completely empty when we sat down for two people. In the States, this would put me off, but this seems to be the norm here. The food here was great. extremely flavorful and well cooked. We had the bread appetizer (like naan) and coliiflower veggie dish along with a chicken curry, all great dishes. will be coming back if I ever visit wokingham again.

I discovered curry here when my Grandpa first took me at the age of 14. I thought it was the greatest place ever and still do. This fantastic little restaurant is in a really small old building that has tons of great feeling about it.
All the ceilings are low with exposed beams which is quite a juxtaposition from the often comic 90s ballads being pumped out the sound system. They do a wide range of dishes, most of my family is veggie and they always seem to find something they fancy.
If you are in the area and fancy a curry head in here, I doubt it will disappoint you.
