This place used to be superb but changed hands and there was nothing left to recommend it. However, it’s under new ownership. They look to be good enough to rebuild the reputation of the Boycott Arms. It’s a bit out of the way unless you are travelling between Wolverhampton and Bridgnorth so it needs to be good. We saw some recent reviews on TripAdvisor that said it was really good now and gave it another go. After a late Sunday lunch (around 4:00pm) I can confirm that it excels. It was an awkward time to have chosen but everything was spot on. First class service, a great meal and the place was really clean.

Big pub just off the main Bridgnorth Road, gets very busy with travellers and tourists. good ale (Bank’s) and food quite good too. Prices not too high.
