Codsall Station

Probably the best Holdens pub. Located in the old railway station the décor is very good and the place very clean with a good clientelle. Beer was Holdens usual suspects with guests and it was a pleasure to drink its a pity most other Holdens pubs cannot do the same.

Around 10 mins from Little Civic/​Slade Rooms, Planet, Moon Under Water, Grand Theatre, London Buildings Bar, Chubbs Building, Central Taxis etc in Wolverhampton City centre.
Great Little (Holdens) pub with Guest Ales, Beer Fest’s, Cider apple faves, Good Food (check for times), it’s the former Codsall Railway StationsTicket Office/​Waiting room, Designed by a local Bilbrook lad too.
It’s just 1 stop from Birches & BILBROOK station or Albrighton in the opposite direction.
Codsall Crown and The Bull public houses as well as The Firs & Codsall Legion clubs just up the road from here too.
I wish it was a little larger though as its on the smaller/​quaint? side in Public House terms.
You can hear & see the trains rumble by as they pass under the old rail bridge or stopping at the station, they have polite and friendly Staff too, I would recommend that you visit here .
Visit On foot or by train — maybe more in keeping with The Station Pub, (There are Bus stops close to Village centre at rear of Crown pub & across from the British Legion Club) ‘
or you could use Local Taxi firm ‘Codsall Taxis’ or W-​tons ‘Central Cars’, as not too far away are the ‘Cross Guns’ & ‘CROWN at Codsall Wood’ public houses too.

Really nice pub situated at codsall rail station. Trains run every half hour or so into wolverhampton and birmingham in one direction, and in the other to telford and shrewsbury. Wolverhampton is reached in only about 7 minutes.
The station is a friendly village pub, usually fairly busy as I would say it is the most popular pub in the village. Oozing with character. It is well known for its extensive range of beers, and every so often holds a beer festival — where for a fee you are able to sample a great range of unusual beers and ciders. Food served in the daytime.

Award winning Holdens pub. Good Holdens ales plus 2 guests. Food served at certain times (not all day). The pub is the old railway station and right on the line. Only ²⁄₃ stops from Wolverhampton whichn is really handy to get back and only about ⁵⁄₆ mins. Well worth a visit. Oh and they hold beer festivals too!
