Westacres Pub

Good place for food and a chill out. Nice by the big fire in the winter too!

Been to the west acres many time and loved it everytime i’ve been. The staff are all friendly and helpful and make you feel like you belong there.
there food could be better but thats can go for all english food. coming from Australia i find there portions of steak to be far to small.
The quizz on a monday and wednesday are always awesome and make the night so much better.
If i was still living in England the Westacres would be the pub i would be at right now.

It’s been getting more and more popular recently though, I can never park anymore!

I like this pub, there is a mixed crowd, they serve reasonably priced food and a fair selection of real ales too. The ales are around the £2.30 mark and the meals are around £5.00 upwards. The bar staff were helpful and told me about the beer festivals they have. Worth a visit, you might expect a pub of this kind in this area to be more expensive.

Just met some people here for lunch and it was very cosy with several fires, not too crowded, and 2 for £5.98 meals (plus other specials in the evenings). We both had fish and chips. It was served up beautifully and the waitress was helpful and pleasant. We shall definitely go again.
