One of our favourite places in woolacombe. Fantastic views of woolacombe whilst you eat. Food is of a good quality and reasonably priced. Dogs welcome.

An excellent little place. With ‘family’ bars at a premium in Woolly, it can get a bit jammed and noisy with all the kiddies and parents in there but if that’s not your thing, leave your visit until later in the evening when most of them have gone. The staff are always very friendly and ever-helpful. Seating available inside and out & dogs are allowed in the bar area. Lisa and I have eaten there as a couple, with fiends and even arranged/booked to eat there fr birthday parties and other celebrations — there aren’t many places in the town that will accommodate such a variety of groups. The food has always been of a good standard. Portions aren’t always huge and depending on the season or local catch, the size of some food will vary from day-to-day. We love it and as it’s outside the central focus of the town, it is usually a little quieter! Plus, get the right seat & you have a cracking view!

We ate here twice during our stay in Woolacombe. On both occasions the service was very slow. They seemed understaffed in the kitchen. I had any reasonable meal on both visits. On the first visit my wife’s mussels were very small and salty and on the second visit her seabass fillet was smallest portion I have ever seen! Also, it cost about £15 — London prices! On the whole, I did not find it particularly good value. A meal for two with just a main course and a couple of drinks each came to over £40. I do not think I would go back again.
