Love this pub. Good Food, Good service and clean. Only down side for me is all the kids. I hate it when you want to go to a pub to relax and all you get is screaming kids running around. It spoils it. Pubs are not places for kids they are for adults. But that’s how it’s getting nowa days. But the service and food is great, can’t fault that.

Been to the LockKeeper for years and it’s probably my first stop in Worksop for a pub meal, however I’d have to say one of the women who stands behind the bar, I don’t know if she’s the manager or not, can be a bit grouchy which made me reluctant to go back. Obviously I can understand staff being stressed but I don’t think it’s fair for it to be taken out on the customers. Still love the place though and the rest of the staff, especially the younger ones, are kind and accommodating.

Not happy there’s no John Smiths. There’s a carvery. Rest of food portions are really small. General pub microwave stuff. Poor service and prices have gone up. Gone down hill lately :(

The Lock Keeper is a taverna style pub on the outskirts of Worksop, which is favoured by many locals due to its rather cheap and scrumptious buy one get one free meals. The décor of the pub is some what Wetherspoon’s esque. However, do not let this deter you as the food is by far better, in fact its much better than most of the restaurants located within the Worksop Vicinity. They do a good selection of both meat and vegetarian dishes and a gorgeous chocolate cake to end with! Drinks wise they are pretty bog standard as the taverna focuses more on its food and service skills over anything else.
