One would hope that Joanna Lumbley popped down for the grand opening of this place shouting her campaign winning slogan — ‘Aiiiiiah Gurkhaaaa!’ Maybe not.
It is a really fantastic place to go with a big group for some Indian/​Nepalese cuisine that you won’t find cooked the same in a lot of places. We went there with a group of 15 (we had to book a week in advance) and the staff were excellent and managed to pretty much serve everyone promptly.
I just had a basic chicken Tandoori but it was really good, not in anyway dry. The wine menu could do with a few more options but we just ordered bottle on bottle of the house red and it was fine and pretty reasonable.
