This pub is over the road from my parent’s place. Yay! Pub over the road!
Actually, not yay. It’s a bit shit.
There’s always a feeling when you go into some country pubs. A feeling that they don’t want you there. I get that feeling in this pub. Yes they do good beer (proper ale and lots of choice, Sam Smith’s lager) but it’s not really much fun if you don’t feel comfortable with all of the people staring at you.
I barely finished my beer before we left. Won’t go back here. There’s a pub down the road called The Royal Oak. Much nicer. I’ll pop in there with the folks instead.
