I’v only visited the Lemon tree once and have not been tempted to come back. While there was nothing shockingly awful about the experience, everything) the food, the wine, the service) was distinctly average.
I found it particularly galling when I told the waitress I wanted to order wine. She asked if I wanted red or white. I told her white. She asked if I wanted dry or sweet. I decided I’d had enough of this joyless guessing game and asked for the wine list. I didn’t like the feeling that I couldn’t be trusted to order my own wine. There are better restaurants in Wrexham.

Truly awful overpriced food. Insufficient parking spaces and very very cramped inside. Tends to be frequented by parties of women on a girlie night out as its one of the few non-indian restaurants within easy walking distance of Wrexham town centre. Drinks aren’t cheap either.
Staff are very helpful and attentive but that doesn’t make up for the lousy food.

Been here on a couple of ocassions and found the food to be quite nice. Service was good and food was reasonable priced. This is also a hotel and you can stay there — there is minimal parking at the hotel.

Have been here twice, once it was average, the other time the food was awful. I had mushrooms on toast to start and the mushrooms were gritty with dirt. the very least you would expect is for the mushrooms to be clean. They were disgusting and I couldn’t eat them. My pizza for my main meal was seriously like a cheapo one you would buy in a supermarket. Maybe they were having an off day though as I have heard it is usually pretty nice there.
On the up side staff are really frindly and it is very nice inside, very romantically lit by candlelight. Reasonably priced.
I am going there for a christmas party this year so will update this review after that.
