Lovely little friendly restaurant. I’d never noticed or heard about it until a bit ago but then someone recommended it so we went for a meal. The food was nice and the service was excellent. I had sea bream which was really tasty and not too expensive either-I think about £6-£7. I had cheese board afterwards which included a nice selection all of which were extremely delicious! I would definitely go again at some point and I have no complaints at all.

Lovely warm room and very pleasant service. The food was OK, my duck confit didn’t have the crispy skin I was hoping for but it was a generous portion and my fudge brownie was dry and uninspired. The sticky toffee pudding was nice though.

Called into here for a bite of lunch last week, apart from my boyfriend and myself there was one other couplewho left 5 mins later, leaving just us. After bringing the rather sparse menu which even the most indecisive person in the world could pick from in 2 minutes we waited what seemed an eternity before our order was taken. Bearing in mind we were the only two people in there we waited quite a while for our food. The baguette sandwich containing mayo and mango chutney was ‘different’ and once they had merged together looked curdled. I left most of it. The fries were hot and crisp. My boyfriend polished off the cottage pie, veg and friesbut veg with fries ?? mmm, bit dodgy if you ask me! Strange place, felt like we were sitting in someones living room, really nice waitress but I don’t fancy returning. might feel different when busy though.
