Great real ale pub had Ringwoods Boondoggle and Marstons EPA on for the week I stayed plus others. Has a good beer garden with BBQ area. BBQ’s every Sunday THROUGHOUT the year, rain. sun or snow! Lovely building, friendly staff very dog friendly too. Well worth a visit if in area especially if staying at Naburn Lock caravan site which is 10 mins walk away. They also do takeaway’s for those onsite too! Ale: Around £3 per pint. Food: around £8.00 per main course. But has a BBQ special on friday evenings for £10 with unlimited salads/veg to go with your choice of fish/meat/chicken.

This Country pub is located in the middle of the Village of Naburn, there is a good selection of beers on sale here including a couple of Cask ales. We ate here, I had the Steak which was a bit over done despite asking for it medium rare but apart from that it was a pleasant enough meal, my partner had the ploughman’s lunch which she enjoyed but would have preferred a crusty roll rather that the soft roll offered. The pub also sells a few groceries including fresh bread and veg it is also a dog friendly pub having rescued a couple of dogs themselves and even has a dog bar outside. If you are staying at the caravan and camp site nearby the pub does a full English breakfast for only £2.99 on Saturdays & Sundays between 9.00am &10.00am and homemade pizzas all day. All in all a pleasant pub.
