A review of a rental car location? Why not. I picked up my first rental car in a country where I’d have to sit on the right side of the car to drive the car along the left side of the road. York’s not exactly a big city, but it was big and daunting enough under the circumstances – and such that I timed the rental to be before rush hour on either end (this location doesn’t open until 8 and I wanted to get the hell out of dodge at least an hour before then).
So they rented me the car, but the woman running the sho was so friendly and funny and engaging that it made most of my fear melt away, and we were able to drive back to the hotel to tell the tale.
