This is one of the best eateriers in the Pocklington area. The homemade food IS homemade and very well done. It is traditional Yorkshire food at its best. I have tried many dishes and cannot fault a singe one of them. Portions are generous & the restaurant is visually beautiful, spacious and clean. The are very accomodating so large parties can sit on the same table. You even get a free morning newspaper to read sometimes!

Nice pub, lovely staff. Welcoming atmosphere. Only things which let it down are too many young people(underage?) and the food, which is over priced and on occasion inedible. Other than that the best pub in Pocklington, always a friendly face inside, and you can easily pass an afternoon(or a whole day) there.

This is the finest pub I have ever had the pleasure to call my local. It has a warm welcoming feel to it that has never been matched, the people(staff and clientèle) are always friendly. The beer(especially the Pure Brew) is fantastic. Every time i go back to Pock I go here and it always lives up to my fond memories, i hope it never changes. This is what a small town pub should be like.

up date staff as always freiendly and good service, the food however i am finding is getting very hit and miss??? we did lunch here rather often, but less now because of the food thing, the worse being dirt in the salad! an bland chilli this is a pub, for everyone and anyone? the reason i say this, is that it does not have the are you local??? feel to it, that some small town pubs can have! the service is always good, and it does get busy at the weekends! and during rugby 7s, can be standing room only! it’s also popular place for a lot of people that i know to get a meal, and have heard no complaints. though i cannot reveiw the food side as such, as its been over a year or two since i’ve eaten here. the interior, is clean and the seating comfortable, quite cosy looking! the toilets can run out of paper during the busy times, and could do with some modernising, but they are clean and generally well kept. but there are only 2 ladies toilets, so when busy and because of where they are, can be very cramped! it has a very mixed crowd of all ages

Stayed at the Feathers during the summer of 2008 with a large group of friends in various types of room(doubles, twins, family room). All rooms were spacious and comfortable with tea/coffee and television. Many of the self contained chalets at the back of the building were very modern, spacious and nicely decorated. The cost of the accommodation was very reasonable and worked out at £23 per person per night for a group of 17 adults. The bar area is area is comfortable and drink prices reasonable. The restaurant is large and airy, the breakfast served was excellent with choices of cereals, fruit and cooked food.
