This place is so good that my family no longer order Indian takeaways from anywhere else when we’re at home.
The staff are super friendly, we ordered 4 dishes and the chef tailored each one to our personal tastes, the food is delicious. A few Indian restaurants in York have been disappointing; usually having way too much salt or just being a bit bland: the Dishes at Parvin were filled with fresh herbs & spices, not too oily or salty. Nothing beats good wholesome food.
Finally, when we were so stuffed from eating and couldn’t have anymore, we realised there was loads of food left so the staff packaged it all up for us to take home.
When you go, ask for «Kahar» — he’s the waiter we always use. You won’t be disappointed. Family friendly & awesome.

I used to get takeaways from here quite often but last time I got one the curry was really bland. I guess it was a one off as it was always good before and most of my friends order from there too. Delivery is pretty quick too and prices reasonable.
