Michelangelos’

I feel a bit torn about this place, the ambiance is really romantic underneath a nicely lighted tree and luxurious table setting. The extensive winelist and food prices also make you feel like this restaurant is only for special occasions.
But then the highly acclaimed vodka-​tomato spaghetti and also all the other the food is ok only. Next to this there is too much advertisement when you enter chipbee from the holland v mrt and also in holland v itself, that you feel that the restaurant must be doing bad and I can’t help but feeling a bit ripped off when the bill comes.
Conclusion I will only come back to this place when 3 conditions are fulfilled; I will be craving italian food, the restaurant next door is full (Da Paolo’s ristorante) and I’m at the right time to take advantage of the american express discount.
