Ritz Apple Strudel – Bugis Junction

This is a quick review of a carry-​out dessert from Ritz Apple Strudel in the basement level of Bugis Junction.
The storefront area was very clean and organized. There was no line-​up.
The staff was exceedingly friendly and efficient. I ordered, received my apple strudel, and paid within a minute or two.
Apple Strudel Mini — The apple strudel was very good. It was very flaky and covered in sticky goodness. The apples had the perfect balance of texture between tender while still maintaining some bite.
There was one particular flavour that I did not personally enjoy as much. As I ate it, I tried to put my finger on it but couldn’t.
It was definitely better on the day that I purchased. As I finished it on the second day, I noticed it had lost some of its crispness.
While this is called an Apple Strudel Mini, the portion is actually not that small. I ate it in four portions. I think it could easily be shared by three or four people.
They have other flavours of strudel: strawberry, blueberry, mango, durian, etc…

Overall — If you like apple strudel or apple pie, the chances are you may like Ritz Apple Strudel. Plus, the staff is very friendly. I would also like to try their strawberry strudel. I can’t say I will be trying the durian strudel though.
